Preparation Instructions:

To prepare Hektoen Enteric Agar:

1. Suspend 75.6 g of the medium in 1 L of distilled water.
2. Boil for no more than one minute.
3. Cool to 50℃ before pouring into sterile petri dishes.
4. Use within 24 hours for best results. Ensure the surface of the medium remains dry.
